FOX vs Dominion

Dominion Voting Systems sued Fox News for $1.6 billion. They claimed that the news station exposed allegations regarding the company’s voting machines being rigged against Donald Trump in the 2020 election. Fox News stated that it was reporting newsworthy charges made by supporters of former President Trump. On April 18th, Fox News reached a settlement of $787.5 million with Dominion Voting Systems, which is one of the largest settlements in the history of defamation cases in the United States. This last-minute agreement means that the parties will not go to trial, and Fox News executives and prominent news personalities will not have to testify about their coverage of the 2020 election.
