A Wisconsin Christmas parade turned violent on November 22nd when a maroon SUV drove through the crowd, leaving at least six dead and forty-eight injured. Among the victims were children and members of the Dancing Grannies.

Police have identified the suspect as 39-year-old Darrell E. Brooks. It has also been found that Brooks had been in and out of the Wisconsin criminal justice system throughout his adult life over charges of resisting or obstructing an officer, bail jumping, recklessly endangering safety, and more. Police have recommended five charges of intentional homicide, but they say no motive has been found behind this incident yet. The police also say the incident had no evidence of terrorism.

From the White House, President Biden sends his prayers to the senseless tragedy. The Governor of Wisconsin, Tony Evers, ordered all flags be flown at half-mast to honor and pray for those killed and injured at the parade.
